{Week In The Life}

I did pretty good(for me) with documenting my week last week, better than I actually thought
I would anyway.
I always begin these things with lots of enthusiasm and plans to do so much...and I usually fizzle out
after like a day or two.
But I made it the whole week, folks.
And look, I actually printed my pictures Sunday and started on my pages.
Hooray for me!
I can start something and finish it.
Who knew?

So my goal is to finish these pages this week--it's actually fun and easy, a good combination.
Think scrapbooking without all the stuff--glue, stickers, pages, stamps, stamp pads, etc.
I mean, you could use all of that or just the basics and that's what I am doing so as not to
overwhelm myself and give up immediately because it's too much stuff and too much of a mess
to get into.

So there is my Project Life update for ya.
I love to go here for some Project Life inspiration--I love her stuff and she is full of ideas and
inspiration not just on documenting her days but photography and life in general.
Plus, her studio looks like this....

A few of my favorite instagrams on this rainy, dreary, dark Tuesday morning....

One last thing-
You should go visit this shop today.
Megan from Contented Sparrow opened an etsy shop and today is the grand opening.
Everything she does and makes and sells and writes and photographs is lovely, go see.

Happy Tuesday and Happy May Day.
How is it the first day of May anyway?
I thought 2012 just started.

  1. I gave Megan a plug on my blog today too. I have a HUGE crush on her. Talk about somebody I'd like to sit down and have coffee with!
Hope your day is swell! :)

  2. I did all the journaling and took tons of pictures for all 7 days! I started out stronger though with 60 photos per day and by sunday had only about 15! oh well, it's still plenty! I am going to do a book, but probably not until the fall, because we are moving in a few weeks and I am busy packing up my scrapbooking room!
    yay, you did it!

i added a comment the other day about virtual coffee...
i wanted to make sure you were ok for me to host it while you have a break...
please let me know if you'd rather i didn't, as i don't want to upset/offend anyone. i just set it up as several peeps were saying they missed our weekly catch-ups.

  6. Hi Amy: I'm Connie at http://hotflashncraftn.blogspot.com/, a new GFC friend. I would love it if you stop by and be mine, too. Nice to meet you. I whipped right past where I would have left the comment to this mornings post. I hope you enjoyed your 1 hour and 15 mins. I forget what it's like to have children are the house. If that's Miss C at the bottom, she's a doll. Thank you sharing precious time.
