This Week.....

Thursday, April 29, 2010

This week we spent one seriously beautiful day at my parent's cabin. Lots of fresh air and many, many pictures taken. Also saw more ticks than I care to deal with...yuck.
I made the kids S'mores in the microwave. Yum. Now they won't stop begging for more.
I have found my supply of patience seriously depleted but have plenty of frustration to go around. And not just with this one here, with everyone, including the dogs.
Have seen some seriously beautiful flowers. I love, love, love these pink ones.
Finally convinced Charlotte to let me braid her hair. Then got to watch her sit at my vanity and flip her braids around, smiling at herself so big. Seriously adorable.
Had my tattoo date with my sister. This is her. Was reminded how annoying that BUZZZZ-ing sound is and was so thankful I remembered my ipod. Also remembered how bad it itches until it heals.
Filled lots of jars with flowers and then spread them all around the house.

*And apparently cannot find a blog header that I am satisfied with and can't seem to figure out how to make one the right size in photoshop. Seriously? It's not that hard, right?! So, that's my week. Hope everyone is having a great week.....tomorrow is FRIDAY!

  1. I think you got yourself a pretty good header there! I like it a lot. I've been playing around with mine too. Actually, I've been spending way too much time fiddling and tweaking. Time to give it up!

Ouch -- I cannot look at the tattoo pix. That looks painful. Now the flowers -- well, they're just beautiful.

    Have yourself a great weekend.

  2. You are so brave :) I've secretly wanted a tattoo for years, but haven't gotten up the courage (though I'm seriously considering a little stud in my nose... hmm...)
LOVE flowers in jars. They make me smile every time!

  7. Looks like a great week...

*I have no patience either. But I'm not supposed to after teaching a room full of 5 year olds all year.
*Are we going to get to see your ink? And it reminds me that I really need to get the drunken flower covered before summer.
    *I love your turquoise jewelry.
*I am way to attached to my banner. It is a perfect representation of me and my little corner of the world. I feel like I should change it...but can't.

    Have a great weekend!

  10. Excited to see the tatoo...will you post a pic?

I love all your headers and I love that they change frequently...it's a nice surprise when arriving. I make my header 1024 x 321 (it makes them long and skinny all the way across) took me A LONG time to figure it out but maybe you need more than one picture for it...not sure.
