It hasn't really even been a long week or a bad week...but a week.
If we were really meeting for coffee today I would tell you......
that it has been hot, hot, hot here...whew! Many, many days in a row in the 90's...very hot and humid. Thank God for swimming pools and a/c.
that I made these blueberry muffins this morning with fresh blueberries, really simple and delicious. The recipe is from Honey & Jam, find it here.
that the kids are having so much fun swimming this year. We have spent a lot of time at Grandma & Grandpa's pool and they are loving it!
that we went to the zoo this week and the kids got to bottle-feed baby goats. I am not a huge fan of the Petting Zoo area myself but it was really cute, they loved it.
that I joined Weight Watchers last week....I could do a whole post (or a separate blog) on that subject but I will just say it is going okay so far...wish me luck though!
that I got this awesome light up globe yesterday at my favorite antique store here in town...just $5 for this vintage Fisher Price beauty...I was so excited!
I am spending the weekend with my BFF...hotels, no cooking, antiquing, girl talk....ahhhhh, I can't wait!
If Starbucks was delivering this morning what would you get? Live dangerously!

I love that light up globe! Have an awesome weekend, I know you will! If starbucks was delivering I'd get a hot mocha..it's actually cloudy and in the 60's here this AM. The photobooth pic is adorable, BTW.

I'm so very jealous of your weekend! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. Me, I'll be stuck at work for yet another Friday night on an updrage. This is getting OLD. And speaking of WW...I've been thinking about joining again. If I do, we'll have to swap "food finds".

ReplyDeleteit's been hot here this week too, but like 113 degrees hot. pretty much burn your buns when you sit down kind of hot. oh well, at least there's no humidity.

So jealous of your weekend! I've been counting WW points lately and it definitely does help, but I am NOT going to any meetings. I hate the motivational/ self-help talk that goes on at those meetings. I just want the handy tips and recipes. So I bought myself the giant WW complete cookbook and the Hungry Girl cookbook instead. And I only spent what I'd spend on one month of meetings. Good luck!
