Are you ready?
I am ready.
So, so very ready.
There was a lot of good in 2013,  a lot of it, don't get me wrong...  but it's time to get my s%#@ together in 2014.
This I know.
And I am ready.

I decided to do highlights of the year in pictures... Because really?
When I looked back through the year I see that there were accomplishments, adventures, lots of good stuff... lots of it.

JANUARY ::

A brand New Year... 2013.

APRIL ::

She got on that plane!
Definitely the biggest highlight of April for me.



MAY :: 
Lilac season! 
NADA Barn Sale again with my girlfriends
School is out + Kindergarten Graduation
Big Memorial Day bash




JUNE ::

Lots of time outside
Swimming
The school garden







JULY ::

PEARL JAM at Wrigley Field- one of my favorite things of the whole year!
A big Sunday family gathering
Fishing and swimming





AUGUST :: 

{I Turned 40. Highlight and/or lowlight of the month/year/life....}
School starts- First and Third grade here we come!
Hot Air Balloon Festival





SEPTEMBER ::

Annual trip top McCormick's Creel State Park in Indiana
Labor Day Bash at the Farm
The start to a beautiful Fall!
The huge hole my uncle dug on his land and all the treasures found



OCTOBER :: 

My babies turned 7 and 9... How? Why?
We lost our sweet Phoebe girl
Pumpkin Patch
Birthday parties




NOVEMBER ::

Thanksgiving
Third Sunday Market
Fall pictures



December ::

First snow
Christmas
Kringle the Elf

  1. It looks like you had a great year. I turned forty this year, too. Getting my act together is on my priority list, as well. If only because, well, you know...FORTY. Don't you feel as if you should still be 24? I do.
