It's Cookie Time!

Saturday morning we all got together at my mom & dad's for our annual Halloween sugar cookie decorating with the cousins. Lucky for us, my mom makes dozens (and dozens) of home made sugar cookies and the icing and all we have to do is show up and decorate. The kids each get their own bowl of icing, due to the knife being in their mouth just as much as it is actually used for icing, and of course there is plenty of icing for decorating faces and lots of sprinkles! It just wouldn't feel like the Halloween season to me without this sweet, messy family tradition. Which makes me wonder....
                           What are some of your favorite Halloween and Fall memories or traditions?
