Oh, how I loved going through all of the old photo albums at Eric's grandparent's house the other night.

It is probably no surprise that I have a serious LOVE for old pictures....from the 30's and 40's 

and 50's ...and any time period really but I think around the 40's might be one of my very favorites.

My grandparent's were married in 1940 so I think that is one reason why I love the 40's so much.

Not to mention the clothes, the shoes, the cars...all of it.

This is his grandparents in the back seat of a car right before they got married.

Don't you just  love how candid and sweet it is?

There were so many albums, organized and numbered...documenting their whole lives.

I now have a growing list of pictures I want printed and framed.

It was a long weekend, I am not quite ready for Monday but I think it's coming anyway.
