June Bucket List :: Mama Style

Good Morning!
Happy Monday. It's the first Monday of Summer Vacation so I decided it's going to be a good day.
I mean, no school on a Monday... it's gotta be a good day, right?!
So I have been seeing/reading a lot of talk about Summer Lists and Bucket Lists and activities, plans and ideas for Summer Vacation
and I thought it would be fun for the kids and I to make a list of things we want to do together this Summer, but also a little
list of things that I want to do this Summer as well, because let's face it, although most of the things on our family list
are things I enjoy as well, it's not quite the same, huh?
Not really.
So this list is just for me,  a few ideas so that the summer isn't 3/4 of the way over and I forgot to do any of the things I wanted to do.

1. See a sunrise
2. Visit the Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum
3. Go on a day-long solo photography excursion
4. Make a pie from scratch
5. Get my bicycle serviced and start riding it(and by "serviced" I really mean Eric will do it)
6. Plan a fun, surprise date night
7. See some live music... somewhere, anywhere
8. Lay out by the pool and drink a wine cooler in the middle of the day, just because
9. Have my hand-drawn art printed and listed in my shop
10. Start reading a Classic(Ernest Hemingway's A Moveable Feast is on my list)
11. See a sunset in the country
12. Watch a movie on my Summer Movie List(Jaws, Grease or Bull Durham...)
13. Start the Couch To 5K(again)

That's just a start on my Summer Bucket List... I'll be adding to it and I also know that there are some things I won't get to,
pretty much because that's just how I roll, and that's okay.
I'll just add them to my July list... and then to my August list.
Do you have a LIST ? Anything you want to share? I'd love to hear.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::

The kids and I are working on our list, too... I'll share that later this week.
Today my boy starts a 2-week Day Camp and I am super excited and a little bit nervous for him.
I hope he likes it and hope he makes a friend or two... or just really enjoys it and learns some cool stuff anyway.
This is a first for us and these things always make this mama just a tiny but emotional.

Happy Monday, y'all!

A moveable feast is in my top 5 books of all time. If you were closer I would lend you my copy. In my banner the book I'm reading is that very book. If you squint you can read a page. Ha! ;)
