Spring!

I have declared today the first unofficial day of Spring in our house. The first "real" day of Spring was not a nice one; cold, windy and just not Spring-like at all. But today is supposed to be in the mid-60's, sunny and I am begging Mother Nature to please follow through this time, we have been let down too many times...pretty please? So this morning I am dusting off the picnic basket, packing up lunches, rounding up balls and bubbles and we are headed to the park after we pick the little man up from school. The kids are excited to hit the big park, run around our favorite pine forest, walk on the trails and play on the playground. Right now the sun is shining and I can't think of a better way to spend the first unofficial day of Spring. Hope everyone has a great day!

*In other news...a couple people asked about Alice In Wonderland-yes, we saw it and we both really liked it. We did not see it in 3-D as the timing didn't work out but the story, the animation...it was really cool and I highly recommend it. Saturday after the bridal shower we hit a flea market and a couple antique stores that we had never been to before-be back with that show-and-tell later.
