Life Is Good.

Life really is good. And not just because I am having a big, fat coffee this morning but that might have a little something to do with it. First I want to thank everyone for going over to Maegan's and reading my Guest Post the other day, I truly appreciate it! Thank You! It never ceases to amaze me the people I have "met" through this little blog, other blogs and Flickr. I must say that in the past people that claimed to have "online friends" always seemed a little strange to me and maybe a little pathetic. Maybe they didn't have any real life friends?  Maybe they spent way too much time online...and did they actually think these people were really their friends if they had never even met them in real life? Ummm...Yes, they do. And so do I. And I am not a middle-aged man looking for a mail-order bride, a pervert or someone that can't make real-life friends. So thank you for reading, thank you for commenting and thank you for sharing your life with others out there that you have never technically met. I think all of it makes our world seem a little bit smaller and I think that's a very good thing.

We have had a busy week full of: beautiful weather and temperatures that have gotten all the way up in the 80's, flip-flops making their big debut, the first popsicles of the season, trips to at least three different parks, getting together with good friends, trying to get some Easter shopping done, sleeping with the windows open (pure bliss!), a little antiquing, celebrating my brother's Birthday with our family, watching things turn green and flowers coming up and decorating Easter cookies at Granny's yesterday.

Hope everyone has a great day, and tell me...what good things have been going on in your world this week?

  2. Hi Amy -- You echoed my sentiments exactly. I never would have thought I could have such friendships, that are ever bit as "real" as my real-life friendships. I think it's sharing experiences, commiserating about the good and the bad that makes up everyday life. And the fact that we can do it on our own terms and time. Hey -- it works for me! Have a lovely Easter and I'll be back next week.

The online world is really incredible, but I would not have believed that a few years ago. Crazy how fast things change!

  10. Alas our windows have mostly been shut this week as spring apparently thought that when the clocks went back, it had to go back too and let wet, windy winter back in! Love the Crocs shot - I have so many of those from last summer :)
