Summer is here!
Since preschool ended in early May here it seems like we have been on Summer Vacation for quite a while.
But today it is official. Today is the Summer Solstice.

Swimming in Granny's pool, eating watermelon, playing outside, a trip to the beach, picnics in the back yard and lots of ice cream.
I think we're off to a great start!
I do think we need something extra fun to do to celebrate the first day of Summer tonight though....any ideas? Hope everyone has a great day and a Happy First Day of Summer to you!

  2. we're going to stay up a little late, swim in the pool in the dar, and then watch for satellites. here's the link- http://www.heavens-above.com/

just create an account and it will tell you exactly what time of night you'll be able to see satellites brighter then other stars. it's really fun! my son loves is.
it also tells you what constellations you'll be able to see.

that pic of your kids is crazy cute!!!

  5. and happy first day of summer back to you!
those photos are like gorgeous 1960's postcards- the 2 kids are super cute together....my youngest audrey celebrated with her cousin {5 and 4 respectively} by making a garden of lavender and rocks on the top step of our inside staircase- hence going to bed has been a landmine for all that have sone it tonight! soo gorgeous though- i can't remove it!
