Love your soul.
That's what the universe had for me today.
Okay, so maybe it was just the fortune on my Yogi tea bag, but I'll take it.
The weather here today is absolutely perfect.
Perfect.
The kind of day where even if you woke up in a seriously grouchy, foul mood
you couldn't stay in one.
Not possible.
Windows are all open, there is a wonderful breeze and the temperature is 79*.
Lunch out on the front porch.
A day spent at home, just me and my girl.
Cleaning out closets, going through dressers, doing the dishes, playing with
Groovy Girls and reading Fairy Tales.
Groovy Girls and reading Fairy Tales.
Taking a walk and finding the "first and best" red leaf of the season.
Starting to get excited for the change in season and all it has to bring.
Cinnamon rolls this morning for breakfast, the kids playing together before
school and my little guy giving me a high five when I left him in the auditorium this morning.
school and my little guy giving me a high five when I left him in the auditorium this morning.
Trying to get used to quieter days at home, appreciating them and learning to
take the bitter with the sweet.
Love your soul.
Listening to music in the kitchen while making a grocery list along with a list
of things I hope to get done this week.
of things I hope to get done this week.
Making plans to go visit a friend's sweet 2-week-old baby girl tomorrow.
Looking around at all the dust bunnies on my wood floors then deciding that
playing store with Charlotte would be a lot more fun.

Being reminded that after we pick up the big brother from school we are
heading downtown to the Popcorn Shop for a special treat.

This message from the universe today?
One of my favorites ever.
what a happy day! could you ask the universe to send some of that "open up your windows" weather this way. i think it'd help me love my soul more.
