Santa is bringing me a new camera for Christmas, I was really, really good this year! And I would love to have it before the Holidays are actually HERE so I need to pick one out. Now. I'm having such a hard time...so many choices...so confusing. UGH. I think a camera is really one of those things where you don't really know what you want until you try it out for a while. So...any suggestions? If you have any advice, something you love about your camera, hate, wish you had...I would appreciate any help! Oh, and I've said it before but the camera I am using now is literally the kind 7-year olds have these days, so anything is a step up from here. It has served it's purpose but it's time to move on.
Oooooo...how very very exciting! I was using a Panasonic Lumix for a long time...up until about two months ago. It's a point & shoot with a lot of available features and different settings that you can adjust manually. It was good for getting my feet wet towards a DSLR. But I wish I would have just gotten my Nikon D90 right off the bat. I love it so much! It's worth every penny! It has fully automatic modes and fully manual modes and lots in between. Just my two cents.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your input, there is just so much to choose from and of course I do have a budget--which isn't so much fun either! : ) I am looking at a Nikon D60 I think...
I need to hurry up and decide so I can start learning to use it before Christmas is actually here though!
I am happy to report that my camera has been ordered and the expected delivery date is next Tuesday! :) Kinda sounds like a bay doesn't it? EDD....
