From formula can to adorable Christmas treat container! Here is an idea for those of you, like me, who hate wasting and try to find creative ways to reuse, or even if you are just trying to save a little money by using something you may already have around for your cookies and candy this Christmas. I had a friend start saving formula cans for me and I am using them to package up my Christmas treats I am giving to friends and family this year. I found these vintage Christmas images from The Graphics Fairy and then used scrapbooking paper and twine I already had around the house to really dress up these cans. I peeled off the label and traced it onto the scrapbook paper then used double-sided tape to stick the paper to the cans. It really didn't take long at all and I just  LOVE how they turned out! Now to start making all those goodies.....

  1. Hi Amy,
These are fabulous!!! What a fantastic idea for those formula cans. I love the bright colored background papers you used with the images, it really sets them off. These are really just the brightest cheeriest containers I've seen in a long time!!

  4. Maegan-
I go super simple with the treats. All I make is chocolate covered (reg. and white chocolate) pretzel twists, pretzel rods rolled in Christmas sprinkles, and then my personal FAVORITE: 2 ritz crackers with peanut butter in the middle covered in chocolate. YUM! Anyone could make these, really.
