Down & Out

Monday, May 17, 2010

Doesn't it sound almost like a dream to get to lay in bed all day, watching hours of bad tv, reading  magazines and just having a lot of uninterrupted time to think-oh, and having Starbucks delivered right to your door? Well, be careful what you wish for because that's what I have been doing for the last 2 days. Not fun. And definitely not dream-worthy.
Yesterday morning I fell down the front porch steps (full hands + wet steps + flip-flops = not smart) and I have been down and out since. After a fun trip to the emergency room I am at home with some good medicine and way too much time in bed. I know, poor me. But really, who knew falling down 4-5 steps could hurt so bad?
So I said I was going to do the drawing for my little giveaway today but I'm gonna hold off until Wednesday. So if you haven't yet, be sure to leave me a comment on my previous post answering my big question...I have just loved reading what everyone has had to say!
But for now my heating pad and a show about Billy The Kid are waiting for me in my bedroom...hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Oh..and P.S., I really did get Satrbucks delivered to me this morning(thanks Cass!). Don't be jealous.

  1. oh no! i hope you get to feeling better soon.

when my son was about 2, i tripped and landed on a Little Tykes school bus, bruising my tailbone. it hurt for months. even now, if i move weird or sit in an odd position too long, ill feel a twinge. and this happened almost ten years ago.

  9. That had to hurt. I've tripped over my own feet and caused damage (no stairs even needed). Take care.

  14. Well, that freaking sucks. I'm so sorry! Sending you some healing vibes through my screen right now. Can you feel 'em yet?

I would give just about anything to lay in bed and watch crappy tv all day, though.
