Wow, it's Tuesday again.
First, I want to say that I love seeing so many people linking up for coffee.
It's really a lot of fun to see what everyone has to share and to find new places to visit.
I love it.
Thanks so much!
And the linky-thing stays up for one week so link up anytime during
the week, it does not have to be on Tuesday.
So if we were really meeting for coffee this morning...
I would tell you to place your order with me because I am running out to Starbucks
after school drop-off and I will pick up coffee for you along with petite
vanilla bean scones for my little lady.
She loves them.

I would ask you to come here for coffee and when you got to my house I would drag
you into the kitchen to look at my paint samples and beg (beg!) you to help me choose a paint color.
I would tell you that I have never, ever had this much trouble choosing a color...ever.
I am not one to obsess over details (normally) I just pick something and go with it.
Please, please help me!
If we were really meeting for coffee this morning I would tell you that I dropped of
SIX big bags of clothes at Catholic Charities. Ahhh, what a relief.
It feels so good to get rid of some stuff around here and makes me feel
better knowing others will benefit from it.
I also go through a little guilt seeing all the stuff we have, all that my kids have
and what others do not have.
If we were really meeting for coffee this morning I would tell you that we are
getting ready to go on our annual trip to a beautiful State Park in Indiana soon.
This is one of my favorite weekends of the year and it is one reason I am not sad
to see Summer go, this trip comes soon after.
We stay in cabins, hang out with family, go on a hay ride, see a waterfall,
walk lots of trails....we are really looking forward to this little get-away.
Tomorrow evening I am doing a little photo shoot with my Uncle and his wife.
I am nervous about this.
Kids are one thing but adults...hmmmm...this is a first for me.
I am hoping for nice weather and good sunlight.
Wish me luck!
Thanks so much for joining me this morning.
Happy Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!
your pictures are so lovely! I know what you mean about the relief that comes with getting rid of stuff around the house. I need to do the same but have been procrastinating. I usually donate mine to a 2nd hand store associated with a shelter for battered women.
ReplyDeletethose sweet pictures make me want to see more of your house! for the paint color i say go old school style and let the kids decide. once you've narrowed it down that is. let them pick between the 2 colors. henry loves it when i've let him do this, and seriously it takes all the pressure away.
ReplyDeleteyour vacation sounds so nice! we'll be headed to a cabin a few weeks to get away for the weekend with my family and we're all looking forward to it. i just wish there was a hay ride!
I love your little yellow clock! SO cute!! Your home looks like a sweet haven for you and your family!
ReplyDeleteHaving a little coffee today before I get myself over to my sewing machine to finish up a gift I keep procrastinating on!! :)
Have a beautiful rest of the day!!
I will play along later in the week, I completely forgot it was Tuesday!!!

It would be so nice to be able to meet up for coffee and see your color selections for your kitchen. Your upcoming trip sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI had the Fisherprice camera as a kid!! I remember the strap and everything... awww I love retro toys!! I walked by Starbucks today and ummed and ahhed about getting a pumpkin spice latte, but decided to hold off till the weekend when I can enjoy it and I'm not chasing my kids down in the supermarket! Thanks for the comment on my blog... I hope you'll give the muffins a shot... they're delish... not to toot my own horn or anything... Lx

Don't worry about your photo shoot. You'll do great! You have a good eye for photographing people. :)
ReplyDeleteYour vacation sounds like a vacation I want to be on! ... now.
