It's Tuesday and time for coffee.
You ready?
I definitely am and if we were really meeting for coffee this morning I would invite you to come here.
I stopped and picked myself up a cinnamon dolce latte on my way home from school drop-off.
I would pick you up something, too. What's it gonna be?
Then we can sit here and chat and maybe you can help me pick out some pinwheels from this adorable etsy shop. I just can't decide. I could browse around etsy for hours. Seriously.

I don't have much to say this morning, not a lot going on around here.
Yesterday we did some serious Spring cleaning in Wyatt's room. Got rid of books, some clothes and re-arranged his furniture a little. Today I have a lot more to do around here. I am hosting a baby shower in less than two weeks so that is motivating me to get some serious work done around here. Nothing like a deadline to get my tail in gear.

*here's my list for today:
clean/re-arrange Charlotte's bedroom
get package ready to mail
go through school papers/art work
exercise
get laundry under control (yeah, right....)

Charlotte is really into these little workbooks, so I will have to stop what I'm doing every few minutes to read her the directions on the next page. That's okay, I'm glad she's taking an interest in it, I have just kind of waited until she seems interested as opposed to trying to sit down and "teach" her these things.

See. I told ya I don't have much...these pictures are from last week. I feel like I have lost my mojo. The weather makes it hard to get outside and take pictures plus everything is gray, dead and slushy. Hopefully I find some inspiration sometime soon, huh? Until then.... here's me and my crazy boy having fun with photobooth. I sware he cannot take a "normal" picture for anything, he does love photobooth though, so at least he doesn't refuse to have his picture taken. Yep, that's my boy.

Sorry if I wasn't an exciting coffee date this morning.
right now, me and my girl have a date with a garbage bag, a shop vac and some cleaning supplies.
Oh and some of this, I need a little bit of funk to help me get down to business today.
Thanks for joining me for coffee, y'all!

  1. I did a bit of cleaning too. It's so much nicer when their rooms are organized and orderly. I need to do the same with my room too.

    Thanks for coffee today. :)

  3. Hi there Amy. Our days look pretty similar. Where did you get those workbooks from? I could do with some for my little ones.

  4. The cold weather does make taking pictures a little less fun- it rained Friday and Saturday here, beautiful Sunday, yesterday and today. Sounds like spring cleaning was successful, though! Thanks for meeting for coffee! Come on over to Tea on Tuesday if you have time.

  5. Well, if you're asking I'd love a Caramel Brulee Latte :-)Yum!

Ohhh, a baby shower! How fun. I love doing that sort of thing.

I bought my son some workbooks like that and unfortunately he's using them as ramps for his Hot Wheels. You'll have to tell me your secret.

Have a great day, and I know your inspiration is just around the corner.

Thanks for coffee, and see you next week.

  6. The pics of you and your son are so cute... I love photobooth... it can do wonders on a rainy day.

If we were having coffee I would tell you to put in a double order on that cinnamon roll and I would mosy on over to your place. We would probably mostly chat about nothing, because like you nothing out of the ordinary is going on with me.

    Thanks for coffee!
    xoxo

  7. Hi Amy. It's kind of a limbo week here to. I envy your sorting and cleaning out. I know I should just take 15 minutes a day and tackle little corners but I'm having a hard time finding the inspiration for that. Procrastination City!

I know what you mean about losing your mojo about now. When the weather is like this I can't get motivated with my camera either.

  11. Good luck with the baby shower!

Winter stinks for the creative juices.. it's no fun if you camera lens freezes when you're out there :-D

  12. I'm in cleaning mode today, too! I think it's a sure sign that spring is coming. :)

Also, I was thisclose to ordering a cinnamon dolce latte today ... but I chickened out last minute and ordered my normal. Is it worth giving it a try?

    Thanks for coffee. :)

  13. Hmm...been through all the Virtual Coffee posts and see my comment hasn't shown up. I'm not sure if it just needs moderation first? Because sometimes my internet is slow (and I'm impatient) and I click away before my comment has gone all the way through.

So in case you didn't get it, I said something along the lines of: the pics of you and your little man are adorable! And I just did some cleaning too and it's amazing how that makes a difference to my sanity.

And if you did already get it and I'm just neurotic...apologies. :)

  18. Laundry being under control is a losing battle. I've raised the white flag and will be happy with "not overflowing" in both the clean and dirty categories.

    Good luck.
