{Virtual Coffee}

It's Tuesday but it feels like Monday. But it really is Tuesday.
So grab a cup of something and join me for virtual coffee this morning. You probably have a lot of blog reading and catching up to do after this long weekend, huh? Me too.

So, if we were really meeting for coffee this morning I would tell you......

Well, first I would tell you sorry I am running late because I often do that, run late.

That I saw the Sex and The City movie Friday with my girls and loved it. I mean, it was funny and entertaining and just what I expected. And really? I would sit through anything just to see a few minutes of Aiden...sigh......

That I can't believe it is June 1'st!!!! Wow. Now I feel like summer has officially started.

That I got a new computer last week! My computer was so old and getting really slow and I am LOVING my new MacBook, an early anniversary present from my sweet husband. These pictures were just taken now with photobooth on here...the kids think that's so cool and it is neat to be able to take pictures with no uploading.

We had a great weekend (more on that tomorrow) with lots of pictures to follow. We did nothing on Monday though and it was just perfect. Eric has been super busy at work and we had a busy weekend so it was so nice to just hang out all day.

I'm going to get more strawberries today and my mom wants some to make a strawberry pie...yum.

It's supposed to be in the high 80's today, time to get out the bathing suits and sunscreen....

Oh-and the room I am in above is my little office cubby, it's right off the kitchen and dining room and was where the maid/housekeeper slept back in the day according to our neighbors. Kinda crazy because this is a little room!

Okay so what would you tell ME over coffee this morning? I'm listening.

{Virtual Coffee}

It's Tuesday. So grab a cup of coffee or your favorite morning drink (afternoon coffee?) and join me for virtual coffee.  I am trying to cut back on my coffee consumption but knew I had to have a cup today.
If we were really meeting for coffee this morning I would tell you......

*that our a/c went out. and it's in the 90's. and they can't come until tomorrow to fix it. help.

* that I really want to order one of these for my camera. so cute.

*that one of my favorite girlfriends will be here from Nashville this weekend. We have plans to see the new Sex and The City movie Friday night. Yay!

*Wyatt thinks one of his front teeth might be starting to get a little bit loose. It might just be wishful thinking on his part though because he told me he is so excited to lose his first tooth he can't stand it.

*yesterday I had a lunch date with my man while my sister watched the kids. That never happens, so it was really nice.

* my niece, Drew,  turned 10 yesterday-she is the oldest grandchild in my family and it is so hard to believe she is already 10 years old.

* in the next few weeks I am *hoping* to do a bit of a blog overhaul so sorry in advance for the messiness. I need to figure out how to fix my header first and then there are some other things I want to do/change/add so it reflects my personality a little more.

* I had to show off my super-cute wire egg basket I found while antiquing recently. It was only $8...proud of this find!

Okay, so what would you tell me over coffee this morning? 
I'm open to: complaining, bragging, venting, triumphs, tragedies, gossip......you name it.

Oh, and if we were really meeting for coffee this morning I would tell you that your hair looks super cute, love that necklace and I would totally buy your coffee today. Happy Tuesday!

Let's meet for coffee again like last week and I will tell you....
*How I think I need to hire a life coach, now if only I could afford one....

*how my to-do list just keeps getting longer so I ignore it.

*how I actually started on that spare bedroom today (yay me!)

*how someone needs to just go ahead and wire my mouth shut so I can lose some serious weight already

*how Wyatt only has 2 days of preschool left and then we are officially on Summer break....wow!

*how I wish Calgon really would take me away somewhere with a Maid and a Margarita Machine...

*how I wish a brand-spankin'-new laptop (mac) would just appear on my desk tomorrow morning-complete with all the software my little heart desires...I'm having serious computer issues!

* how Charlotte said I looked so pretty on  Mother's Day(below) but I think it was really just because I don't usually fix my hair or wear make-up unless I am going somewhere...I'll still take it though!

*and finally how Eric got the official word on this internship program he is going to be doing and how he will be starting his last class in the Fall and then he will have his Master's Degree in Environmental Studies...I'm so proud of him!
